Home taking advantage of their artificial turf.  This game was tied at the end of regulation at 7 all and went into extra innings where the Lady Screaming Eagles won by one run in the bottom of the 8th; 8-7.
In order to determine the brackets for the 1A State tournament, Coach Chip McDonald and Asst. Coach Amber Clinkingbeard and the Lady Pirates took on the #2 seed Lady Tigers of Armorel. This time the extra inning had a different outcome as the Lady Pirates held the Lady Tigers in the 8th inning and then go on to score in the bottom of the 8th for a 6-5 victory.
