Calico Rock Artist’s Paintings Support ICARE
Janine “Grace-Emma” Johnson is an artist of many talents. She attended some Bob Ross Painting Classes at the Mountain View Meeting Place where she gained the skill of using oils which she applied to acrylics, too. This newfound love of expressing her art on canvas led her to a prolific time of producing beautiful works of arts. Her love of animals gave her the idea to sell her paintings and donate the proceeds to ICARE (Izard County Animal Rescue Effort) and other animal shelters in our area.
Most of her paintings are 8”x10” or 14”x14”, ready for framing, and priced at $10-$20. You can find them in Fricki’s Attic at the Calico Rock Chamber of Commerce or on Facebook’s Calico Rock, AR Online Yard Sale. (Search for “animal shelter”.)
Grace-Emma says that “Sometimes I paint Jesus and heaven. I am a Christian and Jesus sometimes reveals what heaven look a lot like to me. He shows me beautiful scenery on earth and whispers that Heaven looks a lot like that. He whispered that He wants me to share Heaven through my paintings.”

I am blessed to have one of Janine’s paintings, “Flower Garden in Heaven”. It is a lovely pastel depicting a blue bird surrounded by wildflowers. Janine has such a beautiful sweet spirit and it is reflected in her paintings.
