Fire Suppression blankets available at Fire Department
CRVFD’s Fire Suppression Blanket is available for purchase. At Calico’s Park Street Health Fair, on September 17th, the CRVFD had presented the Fire Blanket as a door prize which has turned into their fundraiser for the Calico Rock Fire Department.
How can this blanket help you? Keep the Fire Blanket in the kitchen, backyard, vehicle or take it camping. It has a hole so it can also be easily hung on walls.
Extinguish small fires quickly and e3asily with no mess (unlike common fire extinguishers). Simply deploy the blanket by pulling down the tabs and throw over the object that is on fire.
Effective on liquid or grease fires. It works in different types of fire as well. They can also be used as a thermal or heat shield.
Unlike traditional extinguishers, the fire blanket never expires. That means unlike traditional fire extinguishers, it doesn’t need to be replaces.
The package measures 12”x17”, the blanket measures 40”x40”, comes with protective gloves and a hook, from which to hang.
