Foundation Welcomes Brandie Soden

The Calico Rock Community Foundation is pleased to welcome Brandie Soden to the Guest Experiences Team. Brandie will be working with the Calico Rock Artisans Cooperative in the Artisan Gift Shop, Peppersauce on Main, the Main Street Calico Rock program, and the Calico Rock Museum & Visitor Center.
Soden is originally from Richland, Washington where she served as the executive director of the Art in the Park festival and as gallery coordinator at the Allied Arts Association. In these positions, she worked closely with Arts Washington and the Richland City Council, much like she will in her new position with the Foundation. She brings a wealth of experience in working with small art galleries and museums and has a love for history.
She and her husband, Ben, a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as a member of the Royal Green Jackets in British Army, relocated to Calico Rock through a friendship Ben made during his service in the military. Brandie fell in love with Calico Rock, the history of the community, and the people. She will be a great asset to the Foundation and community.
“Brandie is easy to talk to and has a wealth of experience that will benefit all of us at the Calico Rock Museum,” Executive Director Gloria Sanders said.
The Foundation bridges the past and future by supporting our community’s historic preservation and economic revitalization efforts. For more info, visit www.calicorockmuseum.com or call 870-297-6100.
