Lions Fireworks show the best one yet

The Lions Club was one of nearly 50 organizations reportedly left in a difficult situation after a fireworks vendor accepted payment and then backed out at the last minute without returning the funds.
As reported in last weeks issue, AM Pyrotechnics, LLC filed for chapter 11 backruptcy protection earlier this year for a second time, their first being in 2014. Despite the bankruptcy they had previously assured customers that they would be providing shows up until the Mountain Home Red, White, and Blue event when they did not show up and failed to communicate with members. After this, a cascade unfolded of events either cancelling, postponing, or searching last minute for a replacement.
Calico Rock was luvky in that despite the setback of the former pyrotechnics company pulling out, the they were able rally local businesses together and secure a new pyrotechnics vendor who came out and set up one of the best fireworks shows Calico Rock has ever had.
Premier Pyrotechnics stepped up to produce most local fireworks shows and they did not disappoint. They showed up last minute to provide product, choreography, and personnel to provide us a show of outstanding caliber.
