Hoot Rush passes

The community is sorrowful this evening after hearing of the passing of Alton “Hoot” Rush today. Hoot was beloved by many in the community and had done many things for our small town. Visitation services will be on  Friday, December 13 from 6-8 p.m. Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Funeral service will be on  Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock and the burial:  Spring Creek. A more detailed obituary will be available in next week’s White River Current.
