Calico Rock Water Rate to Increase in 2025

Like many small towns across Arkansas, the Calico Rock City Council have made efforts to keep water rates as low as possible for consumers. Unfortunately this will soon change with the new mandated water rates that are expected to increase as of January 1.

The Arkansas Legislature is requiring all municipal water systems in the state to increase their rates. The rate study for Calico Rock is expected to be released October 1. These are mandated and completely out of the control of local mayors, clerks, or city councils.
