Izard County Fair starts this week
The Izard County Fair returns August 11–17th, promising a fun-filled week of competition, community, and celebration of local talent at the Izard County Fairgrounds. With events ranging from horse shows and beef cooking contests to 4-H auctions and youth showmanship, this year’s fair offers something for everyone.
Those wishing to participate in this years fair can come to the manual registration assistance session held on Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds. Volunteers will be available to help those with computer issues.
From seasoned exhibitors to first-time 4-H members, the Izard County Fair provides a stage for all ages to shine. It’s not just about the ribbons — it’s about tradition, community pride, and connecting through agriculture, art, and friendly competition.
