Local Man Arrested After Being Exposed By Online Group
A man who lives right outside of Calico Rock in Baxter County has been arrested after he was trying to set up a meeting with underage girls so he could marry them. A warrant had been issued following an investigation that was initiated last year. On August 31, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office received a request to respond to an address on Highway 5 South to meet representatives from an organization called “Bikers Against Predators” from Indiana. This group made a complaint that Kenny Slack at that address had been communicating via Facebook messaging with persons he believed to be two 13 year old juveniles and one 10 year old juvenile. These messages were said to contain sexually explicit content. This messaging was alleged to have began on June 8, 2025 and continued until July 21, 2025.
The biker was traveling through Arkansas and contacted Slack about communicating with the juveniles through Facebook. He tried to get Slack to meet him, but he didn’t show up. So the biker went to Slack’s residence. While the Biker was audio and video recording, Slack admitted to communicating with the juveniles, but said he never intended to pick them up.
The investigation revealed Slack had plans to take the juveniles shopping, he asked them what kind of gold rings they wanted, planned on driving to Indiana to pick them up, marry them and bring them back to Baxter County so they could be a happy family. He said they could all share a bed. He also made sexual advances towards the juveniles.
The decoy accounts made it clear what the girl’s ages were. Detectives made contact with Slack who admitted he engaged with the decoy juvenile accounts on Facebook.
Slack is facing three felony counts of sexual solicitation of a minor. He is free after posting $50,000 bond.
PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS
Slack has four previous felony convictions in Arkansas, all in Van Buren County.
In 1996, he was found guilty of negligent homicide and underage driving under the influence.
In 2012, Slack was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, second degree battery, resisting arrest and violation of a no contact order. As part of a plea deal, he was given 60 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, with 12 months suspended imposition of sentence.
Slack was arrested in 2014 on charges of first degree assault and first degree criminal mischief. He received one year of supervised probation as part of a plea deal in that case.
In 2016, Slack picked up charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and equipment violation following a traffic stop. He received a 24 month suspended imposition of sentence.
In 1996, he killed someone. No mention of a sentencing. He probably walked on that due to his age, but he was old enough to drive and old enough to kill someone’s child. In 2012, he was given a five year sentence, but a year of that was suspended. That means he should have been released from prison in 2016, but he was free in 2014 to commit first degree assault and criminal mischief. Probably pled down to these charges. He received one year of supervised probation. He went on to commit more criminal acts when he should have been in prison. It is obvious he is a threat to society, in particular children. We need more female judges. Preferably conservatives. Hard working people and children are not safe from people like this. Lock him up and throw away the key.
